Students must transfer to the University of Colorado Boulder from another academic institution with at least one year (at least 24 credits) satisfied at the prior institution(s).
Students must have completed at least 12 credits of coursework leading to a bachelor's degree.
Students must acheive superior academic achievement during their first 12 credits completed at the University of Colorado Boulder.
The minimum academic average required for membership is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Academic eligiblility shall be obtained on the grades of the first 12 credits (equivalent to one full semester).
Invitation & Induction Timeline
Members are only invited once during their academic journey to join Tau Sigma.
In February, eligible members will receive an invitation email from tausigma@colorado.edu which includes instructions on how to accept the invitation and join Tau Sigma.
Members must pay a lifetime membership fee of $50.
Our annual induction ceremony takes place in March or April.
