OIEC implements and enforces four university policies: Protected Class Nondiscrimination; Sexual Misconduct, Intimate Partner Violence, and Stalking; Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships; and Lactation Space. OIEC continuously refines policies, procedures, and practices to maintain legal compliance and provides evidence-informed and innovative assessment, prevention, resolution, and safety and support services.

This includes training on how to serve impartially, conflicts of interest, and bias.
