Types of Agreements

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ enters into many types of agreements to support sponsored projects. These agreements may or may not be funded. Agreement sponsors could be the federal government, foundations, other universities, or industry. These relationships are governed by terms defining each party’s rights and obligations.

Many sponsored project agreements received by ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ are accepted under the signature authority of the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG). These agreements, including incoming subagreements, usually require negotiation between ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØÌýand the sponsorÌýand always require OCG'sÌýapproval and signature.
