Current university staff with a transfer, promotion, or base pay increase effective after November 15, 2023, will not be eligible for the merit increase on January 1, 2024. Hiring units should plan new salaries accordingly.
Payroll in Arrears
The fact-finding effort will run from November 2023 - January 2024
Meeting invites will be sent out to selected units and individuals over the coming weeks.
The MyLeave Replacement Initiative Project Team will be reaching out to payroll, budget, and finance experts across campus to solicit feedback regarding Payroll in Arrears.
Starting November 27 the QuickStart program will be switching to a self-scheduled model of participation and discontinuing the current manual email notifications.
Comprehensive QuickStart information, resources, session schedule, and Zoom link can be found on the QuickStart website.
Multiple Virtual Walk-In Hours sessions have been set up to address any QuickStart-related questions that HRLs and Supervisors may have.

HRSC Workload Evaluation
This month, the HRSC will be conducting an internal evaluation of coordinator workloads to ensure work is being spread evenly across the team. We appreciate your patience as we incorporate changes over the next few weeks.
Updated HRSC Spreadsheets
As announced in the October HR Liaisons meeting, the HRSC has made some minor changes to all the spreadsheets on our webpage. These changes include added resources, a step-by-step tab in the bottom left corner, and some bug fixes. Please ensure you are using the most up-to-date versions of our spreadsheets when submitting requests.

November 15, 2023 - Last day for University Staff transfers and promotions that will be included in January 2024 merit.
November 22-24, 2023 - HRSC closed beginning at noon on Wednesday. Business will resume on Monday, November 27, 2023.
December 25-29, 2023 and January 1, 2024 - HRSC closed. Business will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
