Employee Management and Compliance Essentials
Course Description
Employee Management and Compliance Essentials is a blended course that provides managers and supervisors with a comprehensive overview of legal guidelines, campus policies, and ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ practices related to employee management and development.
This course includes live, online facilitated sessions as well as to fit your unique schedule. Participants who attend all live sessions and self-paced online modules are eligible for a certificate of completion.
Learning Outcomes
- Pre-employment essentials (position management, compensation, and recruitment).
- Employee development guidelines and strategies (onboarding, performance management, and progressive discipline).
- Special topics in employee management (federal and campus policies and procedures related to discrimination and harassment; the Americans with Disabilities Act; and the Family Medical Leave).
Who should attend
Anyone who supervises employees on the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ campus. Aspiring supervisors are also welcome to attend.

Participants who attend all live sessions, as well as all eight (8) self-paced online modules within four (4) months, are eligible for a Certificate of Completion.
