Colorful Women is aprocess/support group for self-identified BIPOC womento connect, dialogue, celebrate and support each other’s whole authentic selves through an intersectional lens.Common themes discussed include, but are not limited to;stressmanagement and mental health concerns,race,ethnicity, gender, empowerment,resiliency,interpersonal relationships,andprofessionaladjustment and achievement. This space is often viewed as a “reservoir,” a safe, supportive, environment designed to unifyBIPOC womento overcomechallenges.

Learning Outcomes

After attending this workshop, attendees will learn to:

  • Discuss common experiences that impact mental wellness
  • Build connectionswith other CU women of color
  • Receive resources to better manage stress and maintain work performance
