Ҵýƽ the Colloquia
The Colloquia on Cannabis Research are monthly research seminars focused on the science, technology, business, and history of cannabis. Each seminar will feature a speaker giving a 45 minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion. This is a non-consumption event dedicated to discussing academic research about cannabis.
In the five years since Colorado voters passed Amendment 64 to create regulated markets for recreational cannabis consumption, public attitudes and regulations about consuming cannabis have transformed throughout the United States. Researchers from medicine, biology, chemistry, policy, history, business, and technology have recognized the enormous gaps in knowledge about and thus the interdisciplinary opportunities to study the risks, benefits, and consequences of cannabis. This colloquia series provides a venue to convene an interdisciplinary community researchers to share their cannabis-related academic research.
