BioSensor Solutions provides a breakthrough microbial 2D printed low-cost sensor technology (three patents pending) that measures and validates soil health in real-time. In addition, this bacterial sensor technology also has the potential to detect pathogens. Data and insights from these biodegradable organic sensors will help growers increase yields, save water, fertilizer, and pesticide resources, and help detect deadly biological hazards in the soil and food before consumption.

Prometheus Materials uses microalgae to produce a zero-carbon alternative to carbon-intensive cement and concrete. Concrete is the 2nd most used material on Earth. Concrete contributes 8% of annual CO2 emissions and consumes 9% of water production.
