Colorado鈥檚 Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) is inviting proposals, due March 1, 2021, for grants of $150,000-$250,000.
Eligible applicants include 1)聽谤别蝉别补谤肠丑别谤蝉听developing inventions with commercial potential, and 2)聽startup companies, including those spinning out from universities. The inventions and startup company products must be applicable to one or more of the seven 鈥淎dvanced Industries鈥 identified by OEDIT:
- Aerospace
- Advanced manufacturing
- Bioscience
- Electronics
- Energy, natural resources, and cleantech
- Infrastructure engineering
- Technology and information

Researchers聽developing inventions with commercial potential, and who have disclosed their invention to Venture Partners, are eligible to apply for Proof of Concept grants of up to $150,000. Venture Partners is pleased to offer proposal review in support of the commercialization plan required in the proposal. Please contact your case manager if you would like assistance.聽
Startup companies聽are eligible to apply for Early Stage Capital Retention (ESCR) grants of up to $250,000. The ESCR grants are highly competitive, and university startups must compete against companies from across the state. We especially encourage 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 startups to apply once they have completed Venture Partners preparatory programs including聽Research-to-Market聽and the聽Lab Venture Challenge. For applicant companies selected by OEDIT as finalists, Venture Partners offers pitch practice sessions. 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 startup companies have been greatly aided by these grants. This 鈥渘on-dilutive capital鈥 (funding that does not require any equity in return) can be a critical resource for early stage companies.聽
