With approval Sept. 13听by the Board of Regents, the University of Colorado has introduced seven newly designated distinguished professors, four of whom are affiliated with the 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 campus.
They are Min Han, David Korevaar, Carole Newlands and Mark Serreze. From the CU听Anschutz Medical Campus, Lee Newman and Wendy Macklin听were also designated as听distinguished professors.听From the CU听Denver campus, Robin Shandas听was also designated a听distinguished professor.听
are faculty members who demonstrate exemplary performance in research or creative work, a record of excellence in classroom teaching and supervision of individual learning, and outstanding service to the profession, the university and its affiliates.
The CU campuses nominate faculty for the award, the highest honor bestowed upon听faculty across the system's four campuses. President Mark Kennedy then reviews the nominations and, with the recommendation of the听Distinguished Professors Committee, forwards the candadates' names to the Board of Regents.听
Min Han

Mark C. Serreze

Serreze earned his doctorate at 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 30 years ago; today, he is a leading authority on Arctic climate. He is director of the National Snow and Ice Data Center, which, under his leadership, continues to be the world鈥檚 leading source for听data and information about our planet鈥檚 snow and ice.
One of the most published scientists in his field, Serreze鈥檚 work has significantly improved our understanding of the Arctic鈥檚 role in global climate.
