Update March 7:ÌýDue to an internal miscommunication, it was reportedÌýthat Adam Bradley was named to the Interdisciplinary Teaching, Research and Creative Work Committee (interdisciplinarity committee). In fact, due to schedule conflicts, Bradley was unable to serve on the committee. Jackie Elliott, associate professor and chair of classics, will join Oliver Gerland, associate professor in Theatre & Dance, Honors RAP director and interim director of the Humanities Program, on the committee.
You might have noticed when we recently announced the composition of the Interdisciplinary Teaching, Research and Creative Work Committee (interdisciplinarity committee), we neglected to include arts and humanities faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences on the committee.
This was an oversight: We recognize there is no interdisciplinarity without the arts and humanities. Second, we apologize for this oversight. Third, we are pleased to name to the committee two of our finest faculty members within ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ outstanding community of scholars in the arts and humanities: Oliver Gerland, associate professor in Theatre & Dance,ÌýHonors RAP director and interim director of Humanities Program;Ìýand Adam Bradley, professor of English and director of the Race and Popular Culture Laboratory or RAP Lab.
We thank them for serving, and we thank you, our academic community, for your patience with us and for your commitment to Academic Futures and to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ.Ìý
