鈥淲hile this event has both secular and religious elements, the celebration is really about honoring and learning about Dr. King鈥檚 legacy,鈥 said Alphonse Keasley, associate vice chancellor in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement.
We really hope to bring out that combination of the way he was a man of the people as well as a man of the cloth. The real point about Dr. King is not what he did on Sunday but what he did every day to bring people together. We hope this event is inspirational, and we really want to use this platform to share what Dr. King鈥檚 message was about.鈥
The event鈥檚 featured speaker is 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 alumnus and Denver County Court Judge Gary Jackson, who will speak about moral courage.
