If you missed the first set of campus flu shot clinics, it’s not too late to get a flu shot right on campus. Employee Services will host flu shot clinics for all ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ faculty and staff on Oct. 24, 28 and 31.

The next campus flu shot clinic will be held Oct. 24,Ìý1:30 to 4:30 p.m.Ìýat the Student Rec Center in the Ice Rink Overlook Room. Additional clinics will be held on Oct. 28,Ìý10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,Ìýand Oct. 31,Ìý11 a.m. to 2 p.m., both at Kittredge Central.

All CU Health Plan members and covered spouses will receive this vaccination with no out-of-pocket payment. Members and spouses just need to show their plan ID card at the clinic. Non-CU Health Plan members can pay the $28 fee via cash, check or Visa or MasterCard at time of immunization.

Every year, 5 to 20 percent of the U.S. population contracts the seasonal flu. This results in more than 31.4 million outpatient visits, 200,000 hospitalizations and an additional $16.3 million in lost earnings from either personal sickness or caring for loved ones.
