Compensation

Eligible faculty, research faculty, and university staff have received annual salary adjustments in their January 2024 paycheck. Email notifications to eligible employees went out from HR recently. Reference our HR Compensation page if you have any questions.


FAMLI

FAMLI is officially live as of January 1! Starting January 1, 2024, individuals can use FAMLI leave to take time away from work to:

  • Care for a new child, including adopted and fostered children.
  • Care for themselves or a family member if they have a serious health condition.
  • Make arrangements for a family member’s military deployment.
  • Address the immediate safety needs and impact of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

Family Medical Leave (FMLA), Parental Leave (PPL), Short term disability (STD), and FAMLI will be administered through the System Office. The portal is now open for applications though the employee portal. For specific instructions, please click here.

  • ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ HR is currently working with OFA, Deans' Offices, and the Graduate school regarding workflow processes and paid parental leave policy updates.

Learning & Development

Explore different learning journeys for the spring semester! There are numerous professional development opportunities for you to take advantage of. If you are a supervisor, we recommend taking courses focused on improving your leadership, communication, and coaching skills. The trainings are organized into Learning Journeys, which encompass supervisor foundational skills, managing employees, and how to grow as a leader. Whether you are a people leader or individual contributor, numerous trainings are available that align with your position and role. Spring into action and find a course or two that add value to your personal and professional growth.

Financial Fitness

Coming soon! In partnership with Health and Wellness and TIAA, Human Resources is hosting a series of webinars and in-person seminars in April focusing on employee financial fitness. Classes will encompass investing, retirement strategy, financial security, and how to save for college–just to name a few! A calendar and description of financial fitness courses are forthcoming; can’t wait to see you in April.
