Corey McZeal is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. He obtained his PhD from the University of Texas in 2018; prior to arriving in Boulder he was an Associate Instructional Professor at the University of Florida. 

Dr. McZeal teaches courses on the following:

  • race/ethnic relations
  • ethics in U.S. healthcare
  • crime & society
  • sex & gender

His other scholarly interests include cultural hegemony, U.S. family dynamics, sexuality, structural inequality, and the sociology of American sports. Additionally, Dr. McZeal leads the sociology graduate student teaching workshop.
