NETZSCH Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer

Instrument/ServiceType:

Simulataneous Thermal Analyzer

Make/ Model:

STA 449 F1 Jupiter

Instrument Description:

Simultaneous application of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) or Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) to one and the same sample in one instrument. ÌýTGA can be used to characterize: mass change, temperature stability, oxidation/reduction behavior, decomposition, etc. ÌýDSC/DTA can be used to characterize: reaction enthalpy, melting/crystallization behavior, solid-solid transitions, glass transitions, oxidative stability, etc. Optional mass spectrometry data for characterization of evolved gasses.
