- You are receiving this letter because the Office of the Registrar is complying with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal student privacy law that requires advance notification before records concerning students are provided in response to any subpoena.
- You are required by federal law to provide a Social Security number (SSN) or Taxpayer Identification number (TIN) to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ for tax purposes.
- As a student at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ, it's important for you to understand your rights regarding access to and disclosure of information in your education record.
- This is especially important if you're located outside of Colorado and/or you won't be on campus while taking classes.
- Please take a moment to set an easy-to-remember security passphrase. When you contact an office by phone or in person without a photo ID, stating your passphrase is the quickest way to verify your identity and get the answers you need.
- You've applied to graduate this May. As you know, because you're on full privacy, your name won't appear in newspapers, on honors and awards lists, or in the 2023–24 commencement program.
