We sent this email on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, to students who had one or more of their registration holds temporarily released until Jan. 11, 2021.

Dear [first],

We understand the challenges that you may have encountered this year, some of which may have affected your ability to resolve holds on your record that are now preventing you from enrolling in Spring 2021 classes.

In collaboration with your college or school and with student support departments across campus, we have temporarily released the enrollment restriction on one or more of your holds. Between now and Jan. 11, 2021, these holds will not prevent you from registering for spring classes. However, they were placed to promote student success and accountability, so they will remain on your record until they are resolved and will prevent future registration.

Please log in to to see if you have any remaining holds preventing you from registering for spring classes. To ensure you can continue to make progress toward your academic goals, we encourage you to resolve those holds as quickly as possible by following the instructions on the hold and, if needed, contacting the appropriate office.

For general information about holds, see our Resolve Your Holds & To-Do Items webpage.
