Intramural Sports FAQ

All faculty, staff, alumni, students and spouses of the aforementioned who have a valid Recreational Center Membership.

The intramural (IM) sports pass gives a participant access to all IM leagues and tournaments for a semester.

  1. Purchase an : $25 per semester or $45 per year 
  2. Download the FusionPlay app for  or  and register using your CU email address
  3. Create a team as captain or join an existing team during the registration period.
  4. Start playing!

Some sports will require an additional team fee due to additional costs associated with that sport.

No, you will still need to register a team or join a team in the FusionPlay app ( or ) in order to play. This is first come, first served, so be sure to register early.

Games are played:

  • Monday鈥揟hursday: 4 to 11:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday鈥揝unday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Teams can be formed by getting your friends or classmates together and registering a team in the FusionPlay app ( or ) during the registration period. You can also contact people on the Free Agents list in the app.

Yes, you may play on a total of one Equal Opportunity team and one Co-Recreational team per sport, if both leagues are offered.

No. Once the schedule has been posted, there are no changes. If your team is not able to make a game, you must email the IM office at imsports@colorado.edu by noon the day of your game for a weekday game, or noon on Friday for a weekend game. We will try to find a replacement team for your game. If we are unable to find a replace team, you will receive a forfeit.

If your team forfeits a game without letting the IM office know by the designated deadline, your team will be dropped from the league.

No refunds will be given for the IM sports pass.

Yes. We recommend purchasing the year long IM pass so you don鈥檛 run into this problem. It鈥檚 also better bang for your buck than the semester pass.
