Anna Christina Bentes, sponsored by the University of Campinas, joined the 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 Department of聽Linguistics and CLASP聽program as a visiting scholar聽during聽March 2020.聽She is a professor of Sociolinguistics and Textual Linguistics at the Department of Linguistics at University of Campinas, Brazil.聽Her聽language studies are mostly based on the theory of social practice, focusing precisely on the relationship between verbal action, the linguistic system and other semiotic systems, and the ideas that speakers have about language and the social world. Her聽research interests are: the heterogeneity of the linguistic phenomenon; the development of styles and the formation of language registers, especially considering textual-discursive and multisemiotic resources; the phenomenon of聽language聽reflexivity; and the production, circulation, and reception of discourse genres.聽
