Research Bio

Ahmed is working on the听battery materials thrust through designing and understanding the electrochemical materials, electrodes and electrolytes, of all-solid-state batteries. His听approach is mainly centred around in-silico tools that combine materials modelling,听high-throughput investigations, and machine-learning techniques. The materials modelling is performed via atomistic simulations听and molecular dynamics for computing the thermodynamic and kinetic properties of battery materials and interfaces. On the other hand,听high-throughput investigations and machine-learning techniques are utilized听for novel battery materials discovery, materials database听development, and听forging听computationally-effcient and high-fidelity theoretical methods.
