Hobbies: Danny is also a part of several campus cultural clubs promoting diversity and community. In his free time, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, working out, playing video games, and going out with friends and family.

Danny Nguyen is a second year PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder. Before joining ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ, Danny received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech. As a part of the Space Systems Design Lab at Georgia Tech, he served as a general team lead for the OrCa-2 SmallSat mission, performing high-fidelity deorbit analyses and mission operations documentation. Throughout multiple internships with NASA Langley’s Atmospheric Flight and Entry Systems branch, he began to focus his work into GNC, EDL, and magnetohydrodynamics. After simulating magnetohydrodynamic control and working closely with EDL computationally for several years, he has now joined the Magnetoaerodynamics and Aerospace Plasmas Laboratory at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ, where he aims to expand his experience with experimental testing of MHD-control.
