CU graduate students from allÌýbackgroundsÌýand disciplines are welcome to apply.
Two Graduate Assistant Positions
The Program in Jewish Studies invites applications for two Graduate Assistant positions during the 2019-2020 academic year, one for Fall 2019 andÌýone for Spring 2020.ÌýThese are a 30% appointment for 12 hours per week. The positions carry a tuition remission for 6 credit hours along with a monthly stipend. The stipend amount is determined by the Graduate School and is subject to change. (Funding for the 2018-2019 academic year was $6,435.44 divided over five months.)
The responsibilities of the GA may include:
- attending class sessions
- leading discussions
- holding office hours
- meeting with students
- grading assignments
- other duties specified by the instructor
Graduate students wishing to apply for this position must meet all conditions specified by the Graduate School. In addition, applicants should submit the following materials:
- a CV
- an unofficial transcript
- a statement of up to 500 words outlining any prior work with the Program in Jewish Studies, degree progress to date, any prior teaching experience (at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ or elsewhere), and any academic background relevant to the course.
- a letter of support from your faculty advisor
