- We welcome two new faculty members to Jewish Studies,ÌýRebecca Wartell, Instructor in Jewish Studies, and Hilary Kalisman, Assistant Professor of History and Jewish Studies and the Endowed Professor of Israel/Palestine Studies in Jewish Studies.

- This year's Community Talks Series,ÌýYiddishkvell: An Appreciation of All Things Yiddish, will feature a free YiddishÌýconcert and talks with renowned Yiddish scholars.
