I grew up in Boulder, and have been treating patients at Wardenburg Health Center since 1994. I am also a professor in the physical therapy program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I teach and perform research on musculoskeletal conditions. I have a wife and 3 kids and enjoy hiking, biking and playing guitar.

Areas of interest

My primary academic interests are developing novel treatment approaches for the conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions, and to use the approaches to improve outcomes and decrease healthcare costs.  My primary research focus has been in the area of manual (hands-on) therapy and direct access to physical therapy services.
