Hailey serves as the Graduate Program Manager. She works with the Director of Graduate Community and Professional Development to coordinate and communicate graduate student opportunities for writing and professional development. Hailey implements workshops and events to facilitate networking and community across campus, with the ultimate goal to enhance graduate student life and productivity. She works closely with the Graduate Area Liaisons to support student programming needs and increase communication across all areas/departments. Hailey also plans the logistics for events and offerings such as the 3 Minute Thesis competition, the Graduate Peer Mentoring program, invited speakers, and other professional development opportunities. She works with the Writing Center, Career Services, CAPS, and other campus community partners in support of graduate student success.
Hailey is a Colorado native and received her BA in Journalism & Mass Communication and Psychology from the University of Iowa. Hailey is passionate about working in higher education and being a reliable resource for students. Outside of work you can find Hailey hiking, camping or skiing in the mountains with her husband and sons.
