The title "Distinguished Professor" is the highest honor that the University of Colorado bestows on its own faculty members. This title is extended to recognize the outstanding contributions of tenured faculty members to their academic disciplines.听

Provost's Faculty Achievement Awards
The Provost鈥檚 Faculty Achievement Awards recognizes and celebrates the research, scholarship, and creative work of 蜜桃传媒破解版下载's faculty members. There are听two sets of awards: one to recognize the work and promise of pre-tenured faculty, and the second to recognize the accomplishments of recently tenured associate professors.

Administered by the Research and Innovation Office, this honor is bestowed upon tenured, research or adjoint faculty for their听distinguished body of academic or creative achievement and prominence, as well as contributions to the educational and service missions of 蜜桃传媒破解版下载.
Boulder Faculty Assembly (BFA) Excellence Awards
The BFA Excellence Awards specifically recognize outstanding work of faculty and their听concerted effort to make advances in the academy.
Hazel Barnes Prize
The Hazel Barnes Prize is the largest and most prestigious single faculty award funded by 蜜桃传媒破解版下载. Established in 1991 in honor of Philosophy Professor Emerita Hazel Barnes, the award听recognizes the enriching interrelationship between teaching and research.
This annual award recognizes significant achievements of full-time CU faculty with the rank of professor;听associate professor; assistant professor;听senior instructor;听or instructor,听in developing a culturally and intellectually diverse university community reflective of inclusive excellence.
Lifetime appointment as a CU President鈥檚 Teaching Scholar constitutes the university鈥檚 recognition of excellence in, and active commitment to, learning, scholarly teaching and research and creative work.
This award provides $10,000 to a full-time University of Colorado faculty member who, in addition to his or her university responsibilities, has, pro bono, provided exceptional educational, humanitarian, civic or other service in the community.
Best Should Teach Awards
Managed by the Center for Teaching & Learning听in coordination with the School of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences,听the Best Should Teach Initiative听strives to acknowledge excellence in teaching and academic leadership.
Eugene M. Kayden Awards
These awards听are intended to promote the completion of research and creative work in the arts and humanities, research leading to publication, and the celebration and dissemination of excellent arts and humanities research.听There are three kinds of awards: Kayden Book Awards, Kayden Research Grants,听Kayden Translation Awards.
Robert L. Stearns Award
The award recognizes members of the faculty and staff for extraordinary achievement or service in any one or combination of the following areas: teaching, service to the University, work with students, research or off-campus service.
