Bio:ÌýTristan Peterson is a PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder within the Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences working with Dr. Robyn Macdonald. His research interests include hypersonic flows, chemical kinetics, and turbulence. Tristan received his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Miami in May 2024. At UM, Tristan led the university’s collegiate high-power rocketry team and worked as a resident assistant for first-year students and as a 3D printing lab assistant for the College of Engineering. Tristan enjoys watching sports and movies, hiking, skiing, and traveling in his free time.
