The NIH National Cancer Institute recently awarded our lab with a 5-year $1.76 million R01 research grant for optimization of microbubble dose for blood-brain barrier disruption and treatment of brain cancer and neurological disorders. This original research article reports on a collaboration with Benjamin Terry from the University of Nebraska to test oxygen microbubble therapy in a rodent model of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
