Centering a strong community, developing new skills to engage in important dialogues, and wellness continue to be critical to our work and this issue of Voices.

Brief updates about what's new in the School of Education, including the launch of a wellness institute, a new online teacher leadership program, and the move to a new campus home.

Police-free schools, explained

The police-free schools movement has gained recent traction from coast to coast. Under direct pressure from organizing groups and a civically engaged public mobilized by state violence against Black men, women and children, school districts are reducing or eliminating contracts with police, specifically school resource officers (SROs).

Puksta Scholars: Working together toward a more just and equitable future

Giving students the opportunity to serve as catalysts for change in their communities, the  program at 蜜桃传媒破解版下载 is a competitive scholarship supported by the Puksta Foundation.

At the heart of healing

A tireless quest to expand knowledge and practices of human caring has sent education alumna Jean Watson around the world more than 20 times, where she has shared her theory of human caring and healing to educate the next generation of nursing and medical healers.

Alumni Connections

Meet four alumni who are putting their education background to work in meaningful ways and on the fringes of the field.

Our school moved into a newly renovated building with its spaces for community building, technologically equipped classrooms, and locally created art honoring campus racial justice leaders. 

One thing we have learned this year is that our canine companions are an important part of our stress relief. In this light-hearted matching quiz, we feature the pups supporting some of the faculty.
