Davis Graham & Stubbs added lawyer聽Nathalie Bleuz茅聽(Law鈥�01) to its trial department where her practice focus is primarily on labor and employment issues. Nathalie has significant experience in employment discrimination and harassment, wage and hour rules and layoffs and terminations. She lives in Denver.

Gevurtz Menashe Larson & Howe added聽Ryan C. Kaiser聽(Span鈥�01) as an associate attorney. In 2010, 2011 and 2012聽Super Lawyers Magazinerecognized Ryan as a 鈥淩ising Star.鈥� Gevurtz Menashe is one of the largest firms in the country with a practice limited to divorce and family law. Ryan will handle family law matters in Oregon.

Former member of CU-Boulder鈥檚 Alumni Association board of directors聽Paula Berg聽(Comm鈥�01) finished her term in May. Her work and experience in social media were invaluable to the marketing and communications team鈥檚 effort to stay on top of an ever-changing engagement channel. Paula lives in Denver.

Former CU football player聽Ty Gregorak鈥檚 (Comm鈥�01) wife gave birth to a baby girl on Nov. 14. They named her Gabrielle 鈥淕abby鈥� Leigh Gregorak. Ty is defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at University of Montana. The family lives in Missoula, Mont.

On Sept. 28, 2013,聽Jenna Miller Piazza聽(Chem鈥�01) and Vincent Piazza were married. They live in Edwardsville, Ill., with their daughter.

Former Alumni Association board member and social media guru聽Paula Berg聽(Comm鈥�01) spent four years as digital media leader at Linhart Public Relations in Denver. At the end of 2013, Paula moved to California and joined Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto. She lives in San Francisco.

Denver-based national law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck earlier this year announced 11 new shareholders, including聽Kristin MacDonald聽(IntlAf鈥�01). She works in Brownstein鈥檚 corporate and business department and focuses her energy on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing and public and private securities offerings. Kristin, who lives in Boulder, has worked with some of the nation鈥檚 larger companies.

In December 2013聽Michael Piche聽(EnvDes鈥�01) had some good news to share. The Colorado chapter of the American Institute of Architects named him the 2013 Young Architect of the Year. Michael lives in Basalt, Colo.

Olympic runner聽Kara Goucher聽(Psych鈥�01) dropped her 12-year contract with Nike for a sponsorship with Oiselle, a seven-year-old Seattle-based women鈥檚 running apparel company. Kara also returned to Boulder to work with her former CU coaches, Mark Wetmore and聽Heather Burroughs听(贰笔翱叠颈辞鈥�99).

Earlier this year聽Suzanne Preston聽(Mus鈥�01) and her husband left Louisville, Colo., and moved to Germany. The couple plans to stay there for three to five years.

As president and COO of the Anthropedia Foundation,聽Kevin Cloninger聽(EPOBio鈥�01, MEdu鈥�03) and his staff aim to provide people with educational resources that promote health and decrease rates of lifestyle and stress-related illness. This spring, he visited CU-Boulder to connect with liberal arts students by giving a talk, 鈥淎pplied Humanism: Using the Liberal Arts to Help People Live Well.鈥�

This September聽Ron Geschwer聽(Psych鈥�01) and his wife聽Desiree Bandelier聽(Psych鈥�08) were married. The pair met at an event in New York City hosted by the local CU-Boulder alumni chapter, which Ron serves as president. Desiree is on the chapter鈥檚 board.

Meredith Moseley聽(Engl, Mus鈥�01) demonstrated her Buffs pride at her wedding this summer. She represented CU colors on her homemade garter and added the Ralphie logo to her slip. Meredith says she, her aunt,聽Carolyn Borgos(PhysTher鈥�69), and her college roommate,聽Heather Doty聽(Mus鈥�00, CivEngr, MS鈥�01, MBA鈥�10), sang the CU Fight Song at full volume. 鈥淓ven though my husband, Joel Pattinson, is a Wyoming Cowboy,鈥� she says, 鈥淚 love him dearly.鈥�

After serving as a communications officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, working for Space Systems Loral in Palo Alto, Calif., and for Eaton Corporation in Costa Mesa, Calif.,聽Adam Brammer聽(Mgmt) was promoted to plant manager at a $300-million, 900-person Parker Hannifin aircraft actuator manufacturing plant in Irvine, Calif. The plant manufactures aileron, rudder and stabilator actuators for almost all existing military aircraft.
