Project: "The Model" Dance Presentation

"The Model" is a four-part dance presentation, directed by Hannah Rosenfield

Project Description

"" is a four-part dance presentation documenting some ways in which Asian Americans have been historically oppressed and abused. The first dance presentation centers the internment of Japanese Americans after the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. The presentation then addresses prevalent school-yard stereotypes before exploring how Asian American women continue to be hyper-sexualized. The final presentation illuminates a few of the modes through which the COVID-19 pandemic directly impacted Hannah Rosenfield, the presentation’s choreographer and director.
