Tammy Molinar-LeBlanc

Tammy Molinar-LeBlanc has worked at the BUENO Center for Multicultural Education at the
University of Colorado, Boulder since 1991. During her tenure at the BUENO Center, she served
as Director/Principal Investigator of the BUENO-College Assistance Migrant Program for 16
years. She has compiled more than 20 years working specifically in-Migrant Education programs
assisting underserved students to attend college. She enjoys directing on and off campus graduate
teacher cohorts where she coordinates programming of the Educational Equity and Cultural
Diversity Master’s program to make attaining a Master’s degree and culturally linguistically
diverse endorsement affordable for teachers in various Colorado school districts. She has
extensive experience working with teachers, faculty in institutions of higher education, and
hiring adjunct faculty to teach for our off campus programs.
She has served as the PI/Director for National Professional Development grants out of the Office
of English Language Acquisition in Washington DC. She currently serves as the Director for
Field Graduate cohorts in the Educational Equity and Culturally Diversity Masters program in
the School of Education at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ. She specializes in professional development in the areas
of family engagement, migrant youth programing in higher education and has taught
Introduction to Ethnic Studies and Introduction to Chicanx Studies at the college level since
2006 at Aims Community College and more recently for Front Range Community College.
Tammy has a degree in Early Childhood Education /Management, a bachelor’s degree in
Sociology and Ethnic Studies with a focus on Chicana/o Studies, a master’s degree in Social
Multicultural/Bilingual Foundations in Education both from ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ. As an active
University of Colorado Boulder Alumna Tammy serves on the BUENO Center’s Philanthropy
Committee, she is an active member of CU Alumni Association, CU Latinx Alumni Association,
CU Advocates, CU Lead Alliance, First GEN program, serves as the coordinator for the on
campus Latinos in Action CU youth conference, is on the planning committee for the CU - DPS
Spanish Language Heritage Day conference, teaches in the CU Pre-Collegiate summer program,
is a member of the BUFF club, serves on the Board for the CU School of Education Teachers of
Color Institute (TOCA). She is the biggest Buff fan and is the coordinator for the BUENO -
School of Ed Tailgate club.
