Join leading experts for an inspiring one-day teacher institute on July 9 that will cover topics related to culturally and linguistically diverse education. Institute will be held at the University Memorial Center on the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ campus. Hosted by the The BUENO Center for Multicultural Education housed in the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ School of Education.

Deadline is June 23rd. 

Highlights include:

  • Keynote session featuring Montserrat Garibay, assistant deputy secretary and director for the Office of English Language Acquisition at the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Workshops led by our engaging speakers and researchers with session topics including: supporting newcomers, equitable access to education, translanguaging, language policy and legislation, culturally sustaining pedagogies, holistic bilingual assessment, dual language, family and community engagement, power of advocacy and much more!
  • Breakfast and lunch included
