Allison Heckman is a junior in mechanical engineering and is pursuing a minor in music. A Colorado native, sheÌýenjoys spending time out in nature, playing board games with friendsÌýand traveling outside of pandemics. Allison was awarded the Discovery Learning Apprenticeship (DLA) grant to work in the Living Matter Lab on prosthetic limbs that enable amputees to play musical instruments.Ìý
