Project Description
This project is focused in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics (CDA). In March 2019, CU introduced a new interdisciplinary program on Technology, Cybersecurity and Policy (TCP). In addition to starting to bring together existing efforts in these areas, TCP has introduced a dozen new cybersecurity courses, additional faculty, and new research efforts. There is also a parallel development focused in Data Analytics at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ. This includes a new major in Statistics and Data Science hosted by APPM. One goal of the CDA project is to harness these efforts on campus by having students learn cyber and data analytic methods while working with real campus data, e.g. internet traffic, WiFi configurations, etc. The TCP program will lead and focus the research effort by working with university such as Office of information Technology (OIT) and possibly the Office of Data Analytics (ODA).
Special Requirements
Students should have a had Numerical Analysis, Matrix Methods and a course in dynamical system would be helpful.
