Our students become fluent in Italian language, literature, cinema, culture and politics, and they find satisfying careers in the United Nations, NGOs, government, publishing, fashion, cinema, the arts, international business, banking, education, translator or interpreter.

As an Italian major at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½Æƽâ°æÏÂÔØ, you’ll learn to speak and write Italian, and gain instruction in the literature, cinema, culture, history and politics of Italy and other areas where Italian is spoken. We offer students a wide selection of undergraduate courses, covering topics from the Italian Renaissance to current events.

Academic Plan & Requirements

In addition to completing the College of Arts and Sciences core curriculum requirements, Italian majors must complete a minimum of 32 credit hours in Italian at the 2000 level and above.
